Future Governor Mark Robinson Comes to Franklin County
Future Governor Mark Robinson will join us at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 24, at Curtsy Cafe & Burger Bar, 2 N. Mail Street, Franklinton, NC 27525. Please join us to get to know him and learn more about his plans for North Carolina.
The current Lieutenant Governor has indicated that, as Governor, he will focus on issues important to North Carolinians, including public safety and economic sanity.
Among his priorities:
- Ease inflation so families can afford groceries, gas and other expenses;
- Ensure North Carolinians keep more of their hard-earned money and have the ability to determine how they want to donate their money rather than hand over those decisions to government bureaucrats;
- Invest in rural broadband, safe and wider roads and robust bridges;
- Support agriculture;
- Expand technical and apprenticeship programs for students;
- Protect financial freedom, fostering digital currency innovation without imposing a central banking digital currency;
- Remove unnecessary regulatory red tape and instead focus on reasonable guardrails that make sense for North Carolinians;
- Stop ideologically-driven State investing;
- Create a culture of excellence in all state agencies;
- Keep North Carolinians safe;
- Provide opportunities for everyone in North Carolina.
