Election Integrity

Franklin County Republicans are active volunteers on local, state and national election integrity teams. We always need more help in this important endeavor.

How you can become involved:

• Poll Worker
  • Chief Judge, Assistant Judge as well as workers at poll sites during early voting and on Election Day. These paid positions can ensure that it's convenient to vote yet challenging to cheat.
• Poll Greeter
  • Poll greeters remain outside polling sites during early voting and on Election Day. They answer conservative voters' questions, hand out sample ballots and campaign literature. Did you know about 12 percent of voters may vote for a candidate based on this voting-day connection?
• Poll Observer
  • A poll observer monitors early voting and Election Day activities, reporting any activity that is a violation of the law or may impede a citizen's right to vote for the candidates they prefer. This is a volunteer position.
• North Carolina Election Integrity Team
  • Would you like to contribute to future election laws in North Carolina? North Carolina Election Integrity Network (NCEIT) membership allows you to be "in-the-know" as well as contribute to legislation that protects voting. NCEIT also monitors fraud in each North Carolina election. If you are an IT expert, auditor or a business analyst, there are a number of volunteer opportunities waiting for you.
• Election Integrity Network
  • Throughout the year, the Election Integrity Network (EIN) is monitoring suspicious activities in each state. This is a great organization where you learn how to help preserve free and fair elections. For example, one committee works to protect senior citizens and veterans; another monitors and reports on nongovernmental organizations that allegedly register noncitizen voters. EIN has a number of active committees, and we like to have a volunteer for each.
