Felice Pete Elected RNC Committeewoman at NCGOP State Convention

Felice Pete was elected RNC Committeewoman on Sunday, June 14, 2026, during the NCGOP State Convention in Greensboro.
Pete is a Nash County native and serves as the President of the Wake County Republican Women. She also serves as Vice Chairman, Frederick Douglass Foundation of North Carolina. She is a long-time Republican activist and a previous delegate to the Republican National Convention. In addition, she has served as Regional Vice President for the North Carolina Federation of Republican Women. A former Duke trauma nurse, Pete has been a passionate advocate for strong healthcare.
"Congratulations to Felice on her election to represent North Carolina! She will hit the ground running to work for the America First Agenda and help elect Republicans up and down the ballot in November," said NCGOP Chairman Jason Simmons.
As North Carolina's national committeewoman, Pete will serve as the liaison between North Carolina's grassroots and the national party. She will help develop and pass the national party platform, its resolutions, and any proposed RNC bylaws. She also will advise the state party chair, help raise funds, and help recruit candidates.
